The team
We are Simon and Sergey, a Russian and a Frenchman, both passionate about Russia, Moscow, Saint-Petersburg and classic cars. Together, we have created Put-in tours. Our goal is to help you experience Russian culture off the beaten path. Join us onboard our classic Soviet van and let’s get rolling!

The ride
At Put-in tours, we put you in our classic Soviet van, the famous UAZ 452, also called “Buxhanka”, which means breadloaf in Russian. Production started in 1965 and still continues today, with almost no change to the mechanics or design. The UAZ 452 is a solid 4×4 made to carry heavy weight through the muddy roads and snow of Siberia. These vehicles have long been used as civil and military trucks as well as ambulances. In other words, the perfect ride for the Moscow jungle. It welcomes you and 7 of your best friends.

The concept
We created Put-in tours in 2017 with the aim of offering friends an alternative to the usual tourist path. We know Moscow and Saint Petersburg as cities full of surprises, super unique spots and one-of-a-kind cultural experiences. We want to uncover the Moscow and Saint Petersburg worlds for curious and open minded visitors seeking something special and unforgettable. It has become our mission!

At Put-in tours, we put you in our classic Soviet vans to go explore Moscow, Saint Petersburg and Russian culture off the beaten path.
